Membership of the vineyard makes you part of the Mellor wine-making community. The money we raise from members will allow us to get off the ground, by getting the vines in the ground. It secures you a case of wine once our first harvest is ready and a host of other benefits. Think of it like crowd funding.
As with all start-ups, there is a risk of failure; vines may perish, harvests may fail. We have done our due diligence; we have been working with a vineyard in Hathersage, wine producers and specialists in vineyard establishment. We still need to make sure that everyone is aware that there is a risk that wine production may be delayed, or in the worst case scenario, not delivered.
But we are wine glass half full people and we hope you are too.
