Our Dark Peak Pest Gin is back for another year and since last years sold out very quickly we are expecting demand to be high once again.
 
On our farm on the hill above Marple Bridge, it’s a battle to hold back the rapidly spreading brambles and invasive Himalayan Balsam. So, we decided to put these pests to good use. The delicately flavoured pink flowers and peppery Balsam seeds have been gathered by hand on long summer evenings, and combine beautifully with juicy blackberries and raspberries for our Balsam and Bramble Gin. Created by our friend Duncan McLean at the award-winning Green Room Distillery in London, this is a spirit grown in and inspired by Mellor (and its pests). Help us fight back; have a gin.
